Then again Rodgers returns it at the end - presumably at the same point it was stolen, so no big issue really :).

shareHe wouldn't have to. He could just place the reality stone on a nearby table and leave. The goal wasn't to return things exactly how they were in each timeline. The goal was to simply return the infinity stones there. That was the problem the Ancient One was describing to Banner. Not that things were changing but that infinity stones were being removed.
