1. They get rid of the actress playing the Lieutenant. Totally miscast and unbelievable as a "Lieutenant".
2. They get rid of the actor playing the husband of Alan Cummings. No chemistry at all between the two, and he's totally miscast in the role.
3. Drop the sarcasm in the scripts. Not everyone speaks sarcastically to one another constantly, and these characters shouldn't be, either.
I don't mind a little gay stuff, but they are overdoing it in this show.
More procedural crime drama, less in your face gay stuff.
It annoyed me that they had to kiss every single time they were on screen together. Oh my god, I haven't seen you since breakfast, gimme some lip lock quick! No couple is like that, I don't care how gay they are.
shareYes, I quite enjoyed this show despite its flaws. Regretfully, they kinda fixed the wrong stuff for season 2. They really doubled down on the relationship nonsense and sidelined the crime stories. Then they brought in this half backed CIA conspiracy storyline which wasn't given near enough attention to be more than an annoyance. The writing was even more immature with all the characters written like wise cracking teenagers. I still think this show could have been good but it needed to be rescued from its showrunners. Oh well.
