Wow, this movie falls apart fast...

Just saw it with my kids. All the funny stuff, all the laughing from my kids, all the best lines, ends after the first fight scene. The movie just completely dies once the lobster-thermador (The first failed gag) starts. After that it's a total mess.

They've never asked to watch it again and keep falling back on The Lego Move which delivers till the end. It starts out very strong, though. Also, Zach G. is brilliant throughout. He is the one redeeming quality.

The ending is just too silly and doesn't bring any warmth. It's such a good concept... Lego + Batman = Awesomeness.

But unfortunately it stays there, just being a good concept with no story at all. Would be better as mini movies for YouTube Lego channel not unlike the Lego Avengers mini movies.
