Do you think we'll ever get more Twin Peaks?

I've loved Twin Peaks for a long time, including most of David Lynch's stuff. Season 1 and 2 of Twin Peaks were my favorite, while I thought Fire Walk With Me and season 3 were okay. With how season 3 ended, I really hoped that maybe, just maybe we would get one last thing from Twin Peaks in film form, like one more movie or mini series. I know there are the books, but it would be cool to see more on the screen.

I know it's probably unlikely to happen, but what do you think? I thought I read David Lynch was making something new in the last few years, but maybe that wasn't related to Twin Peaks or got canceled. Plus he's getting pretty old now.

You can rewatch as much as you like. But try something different once in a while.

By most accounts Lynch was funded by Netflix for a project that was subsequently derailed by the pandemic (Netflix revenues fell and thus various projects were cancelled).

The project was to be named Wisteria, Unrecorded Night, or perhaps something else. My guess is that it would be been in the Twin Peak's universe without being part 4 of Twin Peaks specifically. But we may never know.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Lynch is still working on something, but whether or not it's the same thing as the project that would have appeared on Netflix is anyone's guess.

Not happening. The Showtime season was a joke and a disgrace—except to masochists.
