Wait, so Stockholm Syndrome should be encourage now?

The girl got kidnapped and fell for her kidnapper because he has a 6 pack, bravo? I don't know how to express my feeling of annoyance of the plot. Yes it is visually pleasing, and the cast is gorgeous, but it could not hide the flaw that is the structure and character portrayal. Girls nowadays should be encouraged to be strong and fight for their own happiness and have control of their own like, not being boss around by others like a Barbie doll. And plus, in real life, there are no supernatural hot dude to kidnap you from ur terrible life.

Pretty sure it's been encouraged since '91, with Disney's Beauty and the Beast, so better get used to it.

Yes, kidnapping is wrong and some who have been kidnapped do wrongly sympathize with their kidnappers, but to genuinely and rightly feel sympathy for a criminal is not wrong. That is what the girl did. Second, the girl did fight for her own life in that she refused to marry one that she did not truly love.
