OK, so the only good storyline of this season, Ella figuring out the truth about the gang, has been sacrificed on the altar of crap progressive stuff.

Fight the systemic raaaaaaaacism in the Police institution and fight the patriarchy represented by Adam and his toxic masculinity.

Also, Eve refuses Adam's proposal to accompany her to the altar, because accepting such proposal from a man, and a toxic one at that, is a big no no. Fcuk you writers and producers.

Fcuk this show. They're wasting precious screentime to lecture me instead of entertaining me. Thank God this is the last season and there are just 3 episodes to go.

It was a slightly difficult watch for sure. There was some good ideas this season but they all got kind of squandered. The pay off with the Ella story was especially shite. Amenadiel's cop story was a huge waste of time. Linda and her book kind of just set up some jokes. The whole Mazikeen wedding story was just to kick men in the nuts some more. It was like they had all these ideas for a full season of network television, couldn't really fully utilize them here, but threw them at the screen regardless. Which would have been okay, but they had to shake n bake it with all the wokery. And all that busy side story stuff never let the Rory story have time to develop the emotional weight needed to justify the ending. There's way worse final seasons for shows, but this could have been stronger.
