too scary for me, i liked it

as others say there are plot holes in this film, but for me it was too scary, as its realistic this could happen, an open wound in sea water, untreated would get gangrenous, it would be very painful.
i think the film may have been editted heavily to make it shorter ,and this lost credibility,so would explain how she knew the buoy had a spiky anchor.
but she was gorgeous, and acting wasnt bad and photography was great, but the open wounds and gruesome attack on the drunk man, had we watching through my fingers

She knew it because she saw it when she dived among the stingy jellyfish. This happens right after the shark is repulsed by the jellyfish. The camera showed that she looked at the anchor of the buoy.
On the other hand, it wasn't clear to me why it laid on its side, since the anchor is not what keeps a buoy upright.

What kept the buoy like that is the writer's lack of understanding of physics.
