What a creepy disturbing excellent film

Agreed. Just got around to checking this out myself and loved it. For me it had shades of Chronicle or Freaks, maybe a little Unbreakable, a "superhero" story but much more grounded and therefore darker with elements of horror.

he kids in this did a superb acting job and seemed very natural.

Agreed. The girl who played the older special needs sister was amazing.

Yep, slow but it is worth it. I liked the restrain and it fitted with everything else. Liked also that the story is told almost entirely through the eyes of the kids, while the adults were just background.
