Gem hidden by unfair ratings.

Honestly, just like with the Babadook and with Homeland, as soon as the subject matter comes to mental illness way too many people mistake that for wining/complaining. It's such a shame that a lot of people are unable to appreciate and understand each other better but instead would rather judge something they do not understand.

And yes, I do think that the majority of the negative votes come from people that either do not understand or maybe are afraid of facing their own demons.

This movie is actually really beautiful, well shot, has a great story and great performances and deserves a bigger audience and a better score.

Go for it!

Yeah it's not so much being afraid to face demons as it is that this movie is a turd.
