So many loose ends.. (possible spoliers)

I just came from whatching the movie on the cinema, it's entertaining but there are some many situations on which you say "Hey, why is that?" or "Hey, how she/he could?".. for example:
- In the beginning of the movie McKenna sends the predator helmet and bracelet to his family's house. Why ??
- How did Casey to move as many miles as the predator's ship (with the McKennas inside) in order to help them later to defeat the predator ??
- On the final scene we discover that the anti predator weapon is just a device with "H" shape .. so .. why the sarcofagous to protect and contain the weapon has an humanoid shape ???

01. He didn't send the items to his house, he sent them to a P.O.Box address. They ended up at his (former) house because the P.O.Box address was flooded with mail.

02. The only way this would make sense to me is if the ship rounded back towards Casey as it was crashing. TBH, it's not something that I really thought about as I was watching it. I guess I'd have to watch the scene again, but I suppose it's not impossible that the ship went full circle as it went out of control.

03. I'd guess that the containment unit was shaped that way to throw in a tiny bit of suspense and curiosity as to what was inside of it.

My question at the end of the movie: What happened with the Predator dog? It was alive at the end. I guess it ended up in that facility.

There was a a shot of it running towards the RV when the super predator was attacking the smaller one and they were scrambling to get inside and get away. I take it it was part of a scene that cut out but a small portion of it made it into the film.

Either way it was a mess.
