Ok just off top of my head coming up with as typing..

Set 5 years later.. Something like Once Upon A Time in Hollywood based all around movies this time .. Ryan and Russell are investigating some Hollywood big shot for some reason. But they accidentally stumble upon some big Hollywood conspiracy and things go awry and off the charts insanity ensues.. lots of references to movies going at the time.. shoot outs and fights on familiar Hollywood sets (films and TV around 1982/83).. basically like OUATIH but set in the 80s
