I don't think so. The movie is closing in on making 150 million dollars and has made close to 400 million worldwide. That is quite a bundle of money for a dying genre.

I do think a good number of people liked it. If so many hated it, word of mouth would have killed the movie a long time ago. This movie has had legs. I saw it before Christmas and now it is March. Not even Rogue One is still in theaters, so I think lots of people liked it and told others to see it. I do think that others will try to make another original musical, because it has made loads of money.

I feel this got more than its fair share of hate for a front runner.

I don't understand what crime its committed to deserve that.

Yeah, I did not get it. The movie was really good and people some people were acting crazy when talking about it.

I never did think it was the best picture, and I believe it will be forgotten by history. My choice was Manchester By The Sea. I
