Rogue One Blu-Ray/DVD set for April 4th, but no Deleted Scenes at all

It is full of special features but not a single deleted scene. I'm let down by this because I think this is an incredible "half movie", where the second half comes alive, and the first half is in need of fixing.

I was hoping for something like a Ultimate Cut like Batman v Superman, which made the movie better. If some of the characters in the first hour of Rogue One were better clarified, and the pacing tweaked a bit more, Rogue One could be one of the better Star Wars films to come out in a long time. In my opinion, better than the PT and Force Awakens.

lol. Has 3D even taken off for TV's? I'd love to see a 4K release, as this would be one of those movies that would get me to finally drop my seven year old 1080p TV for a 4K.

I guess a colector's blu-ray is coming.

I bought the "Force Awakens" Blu-Ray when it came out in April 2016.
6 months later they released an edition with audio commentary and additional extras.

I won´t buy the "Rogue One" Blu-ray straight away.
I´m fed up with their bullshit realase politics.
I´ll watch it online till they release a proper edition and only then buy it.

I didn't know they were released that close together. Didn't really pay much attention to TFA's media back then. But if it was only six months, then that's a good idea to wait. But from the sounds of it, there was no "Director's Cut" of TFA, so that probably means a similar "No" for Rogue One.

This movie is so close to being as good as the OT (imo). It really needs to fix that first slow hour. Most reviews and fan reviews have kind of said the same thing. Please consider it, Gareth Edwards or Disney!
