Synopsis

The film is the shocking true story of the investigation and trial of Dr. Kermit Gosnell - his 30 year killing spree and the political and media establishment that tried to cover it up. Originally investigated for illegal prescription drug sales, a raid by DEA, FBI & local law enforcement revealed crimes they could not have expected within the clinic.

Based on the NY Times Bestseller — Gosnell: The Untold Story of America’s Most Prolific Serial Killer.

Crowdfunding

Gosnell: The Trial of America's Biggest Serial Killer was one of the most successfully crowdfunded films in history. It was an amazing experience for us.

Almost 30,000 people donated over $2.3m in 45 days. When it ended it was the most successful crowdfunding campaign on the Indiegogo website. We want to thank all of our funders who helped make this project such a success. We literally could not have done it without you. This is your movie.

Story

The movie is based on The New York Times best-selling book Gosnell: The Untold Story of America's Most Prolific Serial Killer written by producers Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer. The book became especially controversial when The New York Times initially refused to feature it on its bestsellers list despite sales figures that revealed it should be on the list.

The New York Times admitted they adjust the list as an "editorial decision".

Have you seen the trailer? It looks like it'll be a great movie. I hope it's a sleeper hit! https://www.facebook.com/gosnellmovie/videos/703701629974229/

I'm just ignorant. Has he porked-out a bit of late? Or did he do a movie where he was force-fed donuts?

As you can see, I hyphenate a lot. I wouldn't even know if force-fed has a hyphen outside of my world.

Now that I get it, he's not the buff hunk of the old days, but this way he won't get in the way of his acting, either.

Mel Gibson, who'd long complained that his spare tire was just a given at his age and metabolic rate, turned into the Hulk for some action movie. Folks asked if he used steroids, and I think he was either cagy or demure about it. But apparently with the right trainer, the right fad diet, and the proper amount of extras, a guy can buff out pretty nicely if he's fairly healthy and highly motivated. A Lois and Clark reunion might be the motivation he needs. Maybe they could recast that hatchet-faced gal who played Lois, though. ;)

Him buffing up would also help in that cage match he and Roseanne's ex seem to be headed for.

Cain was polite to him, from my point of view, but Arnold definitely got in his face. Apparently it's a continuance of a feud they're having on Twitter where Arnold called Cain "racist." There's video of their face to face encounter out there: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/video/tom-arnold-argues-dean-cain-1150719.

In the end they hug (Awww!), and then Arnold goes back to slamming Cain again on Twitter. It's likely the only attention he can get these days.

It was "The Expendables" that Mel got all buff for. Maybe he still is. But if he has to keep taking steroids to achieve it, it's not worth it. If Cain tones up, I hope he does it sensibly.

BO Mojo is reporting 673 theaters now. It could easily open with $2m and make this weekend's top 10.

Only made $1,162,988 and #12.

The only movie I've seen on IMDb were the #votes and rating increases with age.
