I'm no scientist, but would dirt really fall and instantly become compacted?


It didn't seem right. If the dirt fell on Ralph Fiennes, it was loose to begin with, and after collapsing it would be even looser as more air got into it.

Digging him out should have be easy, but the characters were clawing at the dirt as if it was clay.

I also wondered about that part too. It was also surprising for me as well. Though it remains ambiguous it's hard to believe that dirt gets compacted this soon.
