Favorite Scenes from Season 1 SPOILERS

All of the scenes with Ross and Demelza are my favorites, and it doesn't matter if they're loving or fighting. The chemistry between these two is amazing to watch.

Apart from those, however, two scenes stand out to me. *SPOILERS AHEAD*

1. Ross carrying Julia's coffin to the church and the walk amongst his friends and family once he gets there. It rips my heart out every single solitary time I see it. If this isn't Aidan Turner's acting at its absolute best, I don't know what is. The ironic thing is he said not one word in the scene. I think a lot of people don't give him his due because his handsomeness siezes the day and attention (the-famous-scything-pecs-on-display scene).

2. Ross catching Warleggan's cousin Matthew Sanson in the act of cheating at cards. I love, love, love this scene--all the way from Ross grabbing Sanson's arm with the card in his hand to Ross straightening his coat before he grabs and flattens Sanson on the card table. There's been a lot of speculation about AT being the next Bond, and they always cite his wearing a tuxedo well in And Then There Were None as being his Bond audition. No, no no. THIS scene is the one anyone making the next Bond decision should see.

What are your favorite scenes?

One of my favorite scenes from this series is the meeting between Elizabeth and Ross in the church. There is something so bittersweet in that these two people who were each others' first loves are finally letting each other go for good. Even though you know that he should, and will, stay with Demelza anyone who has ever said a final goodbye to a first love will feel that scene in their bones.
