Wow that crab singing was the worst part of the movie

No clue why he gets hired, horrible voice, horrible singer, i had to take a headache pill after hearing him sing for 5 hours

Though I utterly detested Tamatoa (for being ugly and unappealing), his song was his redeemable part. It was one of the best songs in the movie.

Jemaine Clement is actually known for his great voice.

To be honest, I'm torn about it. I absolutely detested the character of Tamatoa, due to him being awkward and unlikable. But "Shiny" was still a good song.

I quite liked it... I read that it was a tribute to David Bowie which made the whole thing make a bit more sense.

That song is my least favourite part of the movie. It gives me the willies for some reason.

I know this post is sarcasm but I gotta gush a bit about that song for a minute. I hadn't realized it was Jermaine Clement but I remembered thinking his voice sounded Bowie-esque. I googled and was surprised. Clement could seriously do Bowie covers and you wouldn't noticed. Great voice imo! And his character gave me Ursula vibes in the best way possible haha.
