shareIt's highly underrated, aside from its third season which was jumbled together after the cancellation.
Season 1 is superb, Season 2 is quite good, and Season 3 is shit and not worth watching.

Well, you just potentially spoiled it for him, so good job. I was surprised by the end of S1 and initially didn't like it because I'm such a fan of Ben Mendelsohn, but it's actually kind of the whole point of the slow burn, and catalyst for additional seasons. It simply wouldn't have remotely the impact or meaning without that ending.
S2 has grown on me a lot over time, and I think some of its moments especially in the latter half reach some of the peaks of the first season. S3 however is a lost cause.

Well, seeing as you didn't even finish Season 2 you aren't exactly in a position to judge it as a whole, especially when the best moments are in the latter half. It sounds like you were unwilling to give it a chance because Danny was no longer a main character, and as a consequence you missed out on some quality television.
