Funniest Moment?

This movie had me laughing as well as on the edge of my seat! I thought it was hilarious when Kiley was attempting to get away from Eugene after discovering his secret hide-away. It starts off as scary when Eugene just pops out of the wall and attacks Kiley while she desperately tries to escape-it cuts to a scene of their normal, tidy pantry and then all of the sudden Kiley bursts through the friggin wall and destroys it 😂

What moments did you guys think were amusing?

reply

Heh, yeah - the dive out of the wall was humourous.
I was very keen on the cheese grater-to-the-face scene. :)

It did become a bit slapsticky toward the finale moments When the counselor fell down the stairs with the laundry basket on his head - that also got a chuckle out of me

That's why I drink using a crazy straw - Not so crazy now!

Hard to say which one was best, so I go with the earliest; during the first scene, when Kylie's mate gets knocked out by the hammer head and she takes his shades off -- well, half of them...

Jesus! Jesus? Jesus.

This was my favorite part! I rewound it, like, 3 times.

Best line in the whole movie; I don't know why it's so funny but I cracked my up ^^

the Jesus part and when she spits out the eyeball at the end lol

When the protagonist is helping her stepfather in the basement and he's kind of trying to have a heartfelt moment with her, and it's so awkward and she gets all uncomfortable and defensive.

That had me laughing so hard.

I laughed a lot when she was on the toilet urinating, and she kept hearing noises which interrupted her pee flow and would try to pee again and would be interrupted again by a creepy creeking noise. I do that all the time when I hear noises when I'm home alone or it's dark out. They did the same joke in Scary Movie 3, but it was more realistic here, which made it funnier.

I also laughed when she was beating up the teddy bear with the drawer.

And when the mom was testing the lights and you see the dirty old white sheeted figure for only a second. It was scary and then immediately funny when you hear the guy letting her know that was the right circuit breaker.

And her dragging her co-thief with her while the alarms were going off.

Really the whole movie was a lot of fun. It had that dry sense of humor that isn't so obvious. That's what really works with horror comedies, that actually have terrifying moments like this one did.

I like at the end where she spits out part of his face lol
