Not directly Bosch, but Micky Haller who is in the Bosch world sphere

Did I read somewhere in the depths of the past few months that Micky Haller was going to receive the Bosch-novel treatment with its own tv series? Yes, yes, yes, we need more Micky!

Given the effects of the lock down on tv show production, combined with the general turning of attitudes to a very anti-police mode, I was wondering if the future Bosch seasons were now in a death spiral on both of these fronts?

Then here came the news that a new series was in prep for Haller.

Now on IMDB it's been listed as "abandoned." What?

Anybody know what happened? (Other than the obvious Hollywood issues that are affecting funding and also who knows what political viewpoints being avoided these days in tv shows.)

I just finished "Fair Warning," Connelly's latest book that goes back to the Jack McAvoy world.

And now it was announced a film of it is in the offing. So hope springs that Connelly stories ain't dead yet......

From what I know, Lionsgate owns the rights for Haller. That's why they couldn't show him in the Bosch series and replaced him with Honey Chandler.

Thank you for that! (Sorry for the late reply, I don't check here often enough, ha).

That makes sense then. It always seemed off that Haller never even got a mention in any of the Bosch tv series moments.

Now I know why!

I don't know if you noticed, but Hector (Ryan Hurst) was the replacement for Cisco.
