Why holywood pushes the black race everywhere?
Why they didn't add an indian and a chinese?

I think it's much wider than that...

Movies often reflect contemporary themes, often genre movie do this...

Race has been a big deal in American popular culture for the best part of a decade, since the election of Obama put it back on the map, from the birther stuff onwards...

The election of Donald Trump and the tone of politics since has only solidified identity politics as a prism that people use to view American popular cuture today...

Don't beleive me? Look at the general discussion/recent discussion on this site... Race is always a big topic, if not the dominant topic...

When race is on the American mind, seemingly 24/7, it'll make it's way into movies and popular culture...

Obviously, it was done for PC reasons. And the writer tried a very oblique backstory to include a black character on board. And remember, they threw in two Latinos two (Penelope/Pilar and the Marquez character). Why were there no Orientals -- after all, this was the Orient Express??
