Getting a Halo vibe to it

Some say it's some Stargate stuff where that ring transports to other places but it could also be some sort of big ass station or planet like structure in the form of a ring. Strange how it needs to accommodate other ships to do travelling when it was a ship-like itself not so long before transforming into the ring.

I'm also really glad Thomas Jane is back. I miss him. I like his Miller character in the show and I wish there was more of him when he first started out in S1.
