Absolutely loved it.

Sorry if most of you didnt but i thought it was great. Would love to see the trilogy.

reply

I agree, it was awesome!

reply

So nice to see a fan loving it. Make me pretty damn happy. :)

I thought it was amazing, I have not been as disturbed, entertained, amused, and unsettled by any other movie i've seen. And i make efforts to see the most disturbing/unsettling movies available. (such as the Human Centipede 2, A Serbian Film, Salo, Cannibal Holocaust, Martyrs...basically anything i discover on lists of most disturbing horror films.)

And a trilogy would blow my mind. Can that really happen?

reply

I think it reminded me of "La piel que habito" but more bizarr!

Trilogy upvoted! :) *beep* loved this movie.

What do you do when watching Tusk? Laugh, cry, or vomit? I stinkin' loved this movie! The storyline reminded me of Boxing Helena, but with a tusk...I mean twist. Did everyone hear the dialog during the final credits? What a hoot!

i am NOT a Depp fan, so I am glad I didn't recognize him. Unfortunately for me, it looks like he will be in Yoga Hosers, with Osmet. Speaking of Osmet, I'm glad to see him and think is a top-notch performer. Two days ago I watched him in I'll Follow You Down, and enjoyed that as well.

Venomelf, glad to see someone mention Martyrs. It seems to be missing from many horror movie lists. Now that was a disturbing movie!

reply

Martyrs was amazing! An American version is being made. I hope it's still awesome

reply

Really? I can't imagine it could be as well done. In my book, this is a classic.

reply

An American version would be just awful. Never should've touched Let the Right One In or Oldboy... or really anything that was near perfect that another country made.

Martyrs was awesome

reply

The American version of Let The Right One In was really good. Oldboy? Nope.

reply

i loved it as well.....I believe the second installment is currently being filmed, "Yoga Hosers"

reply

I thought it was inspired. It is funny, *beep* up,twisted and also strangely profound. Love it. More like this please Kevin!

reply

yea, the movie was pretty good, especially since it was done on low budget and shot in 15 days according to imdb....smith is a pretty good director, dont understand why people are so picky.

reply

Well, all these internet- so called "critics" have no *beep* clue. Slaughtering movies they don't understand. It's a good piece of film with real points which affect everyone. And it's presented inna disturbing but understandable way :)
Btw, why is this idiot "angiris" attempted review on the frontpage anyway?!?

reply

Kevin Smith? is that you?

reply

Really? I guess I don't get it. It wasn't a comedy, it wasn't a tragedy. The final scene with Apple Walrus guy at Sea World wasn't really funny, wasn't really tragic, it was trying to be both but neither. The walrus makeup, that was pretty good, that was creepy but other than that there was noting redeeming about the film IMO.

reply

I loved it, thought it was a great time. Kev bashing seems to be the fashion these days however.

This movie was great, I loved the mix of comedy, horror and drama. The acting was great, the directing great, the script and everything was great. I recommend this movie if you like Kevin Smith or horror/comedy flicks in general. A really disturbing, funny and sad movie.

reply

Agreed! I thought it was marvelous as well.
