Can only be defined with Absolute C R A P !!! No verbal diarrhoea can change that.

You can only define you experience for yourself. Those for us that were entertained by it and like it for what it was, don't feel that way.

It wasn't the greatest thing I've ever seen or the worst. It was an OK twisted mildly funny horror movie. It was like a lighter in tone episode of Masters of Horror. It's good for a Halloween night.

There was really nothing to be disappointed about. It was a horror movie made by Kevin Smith. He does indie comedies so I wouldn't expect a horror masterpiece. It starred Haley Joel Osment, Johnny Depp, Justin Long, and Michael Parks. They aren't the most esteemed actors out there so the acting was just fine for the tone of this movie.

If it was made by Guillermo Del Toro, John Carpenter, or Wes craven, I would've expected it to be more scary. It it stared Anthony Hopkins, Bryan Cranston, Joseph Gordon Levitt, or Viggo Mortensen, I would've expected more depth. But even these guys I mentioned have done some silly work. Lol

It's just a small movie made for laughs and a little suspense and that's what it gave some of us.

One of the best films of the year!

omg yes, can't wait for the yoga movie pt2, dunno why so many bad reviews either, stylish modern film, what a cool genre of real comedy of bad acting in this b-movie by Justin and then taken over by Depp-- mixed with a plot that eases you into the horrifying cenitpede-esque mad scientist thing.
Can't believe he chose to stay alive thoughout the whole thing.

yeah, I actually expected to really hate it. I knew going in it was going to be reminiscent of Human Centipede - and it was - but one with some lightness and absurdity and even some actual plot (granted, not a ton, but horror movies with much real story are virtually nonexistent).

I really don't get the hate at all. I can see that people hate torture horror, but nothing about this movie wasn't well done. and they really didn't catch on to the very classic horror-comedy in it?

and this is honestly the only Kevin Smith movie I've ever liked. You should know what you're getting just by reading the plot, and it's very true to it.

Loved it too, the comedy, dark humour and horror.

Most interesting Kevin Smith film yet. Rented the DVD and now I have rented the Blu-ray because I loved all the special features where Kevin Smith fully explains his thought process
