Very bad fan reaction to film adaptation

The comments to the trailer are overwhelmingly negative. Apparently Disney ignored the source material and took too much liberties with the storyline and character.

I guess this will be a box office failure as a result.

Disney, listen to the fans in future.

Indeed. I'm so glad this is not a franchise I have any interest in because it's looks like Disney has shat all over it.

Maybe Disney was afraid of having its main character an amoral super criminal.
