Disbelief

Why can people suspend disbelief and just enjoy movies like Godzilla or Bad Teacher or Vince Vaughn movie as just plain fun... But the minute a movie is billed as Christian, people jump to dismiss. This is barely Christian. It's meant to be a light-hearted clean cut family comedy. Just go and watch it, instead of complaining they talked about Jesus, barely.

I'm so confused.  This movie isn't Christian but it is?

This movie has a few Christian references at the end, but is overall is a "comedy" about moms who go have fun while the dads watch the kids. Nothing Christian, just a general comedy

Who's complaining? It's no Adventures in Babysitting but was still a fun movie. I give it a 6-1/2.

...or Vince Vaughn movie

But I agree.
So many mainstream movies we are expected to accept the character's as someone we know. You used Bad Teacher as an example. Yeah cause you know, she kept it real we all know someone like that. A teacher that gets messed up is brutal to the kids which in turn makes them better students.

before people want to claim this as a christian movie because the character's expressed a love of jesus, just remember, honestly, this movie is about a stressed out stay at home mom who doesn't believe in herself, that wanted a night out with her friends, and things kind of went wrong and then went right.

I don't let anyone hot-comb out my HAIRitage!
