What the heck happened to this show?

First the new host is horrible. The others game Drew got gruff for not doing anything, at least he regularly did ho downs helping hands ect. All Aisha does is sit there and ring the buzzer. She dosent do the points dosent matter jokes she dosent take place in any of the games and she dosent seem to bring anything original to the table.

Can this show survive without guests? All the celebs are cool and all, but it kinda takes away from the other games. 1 person is always being replaced in favor of the guest.

What happened to the majority of the games?

The list goes on and on and on. Now they seems to cycle through a list of about 6. And considering they do about 4 a episode, that gets stale. I dont count reading the credits. Bring back some of the favs, or all of them. I really enjoyed the variety of the old show.

I know this isint the old show, but ca we do more then the same 6 games over and over and can the host get off her butt and do something?

reply

Scene to Rap would probably be condemned as "cultural appropriation" these days

they do Helping Hands all the time, with most guests

other than that, I agree with your post

they also need for Aisha to take more suggestions from the audience, she barely does that

I really miss Narrate/Film Noir

reply

Aisha does take audience suggestions once in a while, but what she needs to do is stop picking the most mundane, boring ones. Drew at least would pick out some of the weirder ones. Make the game a little more challenging or fun.

reply

They need to put her in a bikini and give her lots to drink.

I'm sure they would all want to do 'helping hands' with her.

Canceled?

I will continue to watch the show, but at this point it's just not really funny anymore. It's the same 5 or 6 games every single show and the celebrity guests are completely useless. Some of it can be funny, but for the most part it's just the same jokes over and over again. We need more variety!!

Boy oh boy, you can say that again.. Just watched the 20 episodes (maybe more) of this season, and all I could think to myself was I am watching the same games 20 times over. I don't know if its because of the tapings or whatever, but is it just me or does everyone not seem to not really care anymore? I mean Colin and Ryan said they have been doing this for 25+ years, and that is really something. I just think at this point it was too soon too late to revive this show. Agreeing with the OP and other replies here.

BTW its still awesome watching this show in 2016. The show still has its moment's. I laughed a few times. Unfortunately, the magic is gone that once made this show really great (the Drew Carey era and before). If I'm not mistaken at one point this show was battling Who Wants to be a Millionaire? for top ratings. I don't think we'll be seeing another season of this show in 2017, but of course I could be wrong.

Any word yet on status of the show? Any more episodes (currently 20 on the season)? What the future holds?

Still a big fan of this show...

Just my two cents,

Thanks

What kind of pencil-dick cuck watches this?

I was shocked to learn that it’s still on the air; then again, so is The Walking Dead and The Simpsons.

After watching the Post-Drew Carey era episodes, I decided not to watch the Aisha episodes anymore. A lot of the jokes are gross and I'm not a fan of the guy in the blue top that joined them. I'll just watch the Drew Carey episodes on HBOmax and be glad there are still a lot of those. YouTube also has some great compilation videos on things like running gags, specific games, etc.
