I watched it on a psychedelic sacrament and I thought it was fucking AMAZING lol

It does have some subtle (or not so subtle) "woke" framework though.
Strong women, conniving weaker man needs rescue, etc. But It doesn't beat you over the head with it.
Knowing WoTC I expected the "woke" factor might be far worse, and maybe even ruin it.

It was far better than I expected, all the spells and magical effects were mind blowing in a psychedelicized state.

I'll watch it again sometime soon and see how it holds up in a more normal state of mind. :)

I can't speak for everyone but it did ruin it for me. And I wouldn't say it was subtle. Maybe it was just your mind no longer resisting it.
