Straightforward but generally enjoyable entertainment

I've never played the game, never had any interest in doing so. I also think the 2000 movie is straight up trash. But this new one kept me reasonably entertained- Chris Pine can do no wrong.

I played the game and I had some trouble grasping some of the finer plot points.
