The number 1 best of the franchise

I already mentioned that Fast Five was the second best due to having a more spy espionage plot and having some great fights between Vin Diesel and The Rock. This one, however, is a seventh movie done right. Not only was it a great tribute to the late actor Paul Walker (who got killed by a car crash in 2013), it has some of the best stunts, some great chemistry between the cast and some good drama. Not to mention it got pretty emotional at times and I thought, "Wait a minute. A franchise that is known for having illegal street racing, spy espionages, and death defying heists, has a seventh installment with good drama? That I didn't expect." Which is exactly why I consider this the number 1 best of the franchise.

How can this be better than F9? There was no John Cena in this movie nor Charlize Theron

reply

Because F9 was way too ridiculous especially with the scene where the side characters launched their car into outer space

reply

Yea but in this one, after Dom was able to easily lift that bullet proof supercar that had to weigh a few tons, he jumped from skyscraper to skyscraper. That was worse than launching a car into outer space

reply

Yeah that was dumb too, but at the very least F7 made up for that with a good fight choreography at the climax

reply

Yes, the street always wins. That was some stomp by Dom

reply

I agree. And at the very least this was the first Fast and Furious movie that made me shed tears especially when Letty tells Dom, who of course isn't dead, that she remembers the time they got married and that was where Michelle Rodriguez showed off her acting chops.
