I thought that was an awesome part of season 2. I wish he had kept going with the fun weirdness, but it pretty much ends there.

SPOILERS FOR YOU

Season 3, 4, and 5 have no fun weirdness. The amazing writer behind the weirdness of Fargo season 1-2 and the super trippy Legion just stopped being cool. It's a bit depressing.
