Did I miss something or did Emmets car magically repair itself after the shootout between Nikkie and the state trooper? He simply drives away with it after it broke down only minutes earlier (the reason Nikkie caught up with him in the first place...). Plot hole?

shareI have enough faith in the writers/producers to believe that they had to know people would take issue with Emmit's car starting. There has to be an explanation and I'm waiting to hear director commentary on this. In the future i would like to see less freak accident deaths, like Ray's death for example.
