I don't get all the Duncan hate

I really liked Duncan. I was thrilled when V got back with him at the end of S1. He was a good guy, and when he left I loved that V ended up back with Logan. I like Logan too... I loved them both... just like Veronica I suppose.

Everyone keeps saying how they are glad he didn't make it back, but no one says why they don't like him.

If they do make another movie/TV show, I hope his story comes back into play.
He is probably still on the run with his child, but then again, with his parents millions and the truth about Meg's parents coming to light (surely Lam pursued the matter, it was one of the few times we saw him being a human being. Unless I've forgotten though, I don't think we did ever hear what happened to Meg's family after V recued Meg's sister) the army of lawyers and payoffs they could afford would have made Duncan a free man by now, with custody of his daughter.

What did people do before IMDB???

I liked Duncan, but Rob himself said that story was done. If they brought him back, they'd have to explain what happened leading up to his disappearance and after. I think the movie had enough storylines, we didn't need another. Maybe in the next movie :)

I don't know if anyone mentioned this on their replies, not gonna read them all, but I didn't like the character, because I didn't like the actor. He was pretty bad, I don't think anyone could disagree with that.

Duncan was a non flavored rice cake. Like watching paint dry. Back Up had more personality. Every other character has more personality than he did. Teddy and Kristen also lacked chemistry. Teddy's acting also wasn't great. But I still wanted a Duncan mention. He was apart of the show. Maybe he's in the book?

Clark's destiny = Superman, LL & LL.

Nope, the actor hasn't been in anything for years.

Yep, Franco is in it. His role is comic relief, basically.

I really liked Duncan + Veronica together. Donut Run and Don't Put the Baby in the Corner are two great episodes. So yeah, it's disappointing that V. never mentioned Duncan again. I think this movie sucked hard. They could have included Veronica mentioning Duncan and Lily briefly even if the creator wanted his fate unknown.

I didn't dislike Duncan, but I never found the actor who played him to be attractive. I think he looked ok but was a sort of generic jock boy and his personality was ok but nothing to write home about. He was a nice kid but he did not have Logan's charisma and/or sharp dialogue, which made him less interesting for me.

Most importantly Logan had crazy chemistry with Veronica and that's what really counts in the end. I actually think that Dick had more chemistry with Veronica than Duncan so that pretty much sucked the air out of any hopes for a romance IMO.

Happy birthday to the ground!

I didn't hate/dislike Duncan but I just felt that Veronica 2.0 didn't gel with him. In the flashbacks he worked well with her, etc but not the person she ultimately became. That's my opinion.
