Watching it for first time on TNT
I tuned in late but at the dance scene...missing Jessica Lansbury's singing. It's just not the same. They should have used her version of Tale Old As Time.
shareI had issues with the fact that the scene felt so empty. There was almost no affection shown between them, no sign that they had grown closer in the past few months, no Belle snuggling up against the Beast, almost nobody silently smiling and cheering them on, nothing. Even worse, out on the balcony, she's still thinking about being his prisoner. How unromantic :(
shareI agree I didn't feel the characters had any connection. Mind you I tuned in halfway through it... but that dance scene was awkward af.
