Bryan Callen won't appear on The Goldbergs' Season 8, but not because of sexual assault and misconduct allegations

ABC and Sony Pictures Television, producer of The Goldbergs and canceled spinoff Schooled, have yet to comment on the sexual assault and misconduct allegations from four women made today against Callen in the Los Angeles Times. Callen has played high school gym teacher Rick Mellor on both shows. But he only appeared on one episode of The Goldbergs last season. Variety reports that Callen won't reprise his role next season, "but his absence is for plot reasons rather than as a response to these allegations." Callen has denied the allegations in a lengthy statement, saying: "Let me be very clear: I have never raped, forced myself upon a woman nor have I offered to trade stage time for sex. EVER."

Unless you're Joe Biden, then no one gives a shit what a woman says!
