Way overated...

Dunno why but it felt way overrated for the score it has. 7.2 to 7.4 would be more appropriate. Movie seems over the top silly and corny in some places. Heck the final battle you could just have the two brothers stare at each other eating some pork and drinking beer and nothing would touch them as they rode through 100k of enemy soldiers and not one of them even bothered hitting the horse much less anything else. Baahubali barely even swung his spears at the enemies much less than him twirling them around for show.

So a nation of 25k soldiers had such advanced weaponry against a force of 100k that had no horses or catapults or bowmen, wut? Only 1 elephant for the boss and a wooden tree battering ram that magically was able to knock down a metal enforced barrier with more men backing it than the ones holding the battering ram itself >_>.

The dancing felt out of place but I know that most Bollywood movies have musical dances so I can excuse that. Just that when you have action music playing in the background and then they're doing dancing and singing just made me go -_- especially at the end before credits.

I think the musical aspect detracts from the expectations from Western audiences, but b overall it's in the same vein as LotR, 300, Braveheart, and Gladiator.
