Why all of the hate?! I actually enjoyed this movie.

Yes, this movie was surprisingly fun. I was not at all bored, i actually cared about the characters and it looked beautiful.

Some movies just gain a lot of negativity. Often this goes combined with people having made up their mind before ever watching it.
Now I wasnt a big fan of this movie but it was decent enough and it wasnt boring. Has some problems I would argue but at the end of the day I found it entertaining.

Because it tells people to use their time properly, after some unamed figure had ticked his last tock, falls face first into his soup or something and the godly Time removes his clock. Watch that from the perspective of someone having to use the time s/he has to just fund the time they have, and being told so by moviestars. We just can not all sail the seven seas, show it to your kids, let them dream as long as they can, other than that, the sooner this mess will be forgotten, the better.

It was just flat on fun and enjoyable movie. Didn't get bored, aside being magically stunning it had really fun adventure and some quirky humor.

Probably my biggest complaints were that hatters wasn't as mad as I hoped... liked him in first movie more. And Chesire cat looked oddly childish rather than lovable creepy he was in previous movie..

Aside that I really liked this movie
8/10

I don't know either. It's a fairytale. It's supposed to be taken lightly. Plus, it's aimed for kids and families. It got the job done. Is it a master-peace? No, of course not. Is it an awful movie? Again, no. It's a decent fairytale, which did what it was supposed to do.

In vino veritas

Agreed! Just watched it and thought it was really great, then I came here and was shocked by all of the bad reviews. The problem is that Alice in Wonderland has obviously had a huge following for many years, and when these movies weren't made exactly as the books, people decided before even watching it that it would be terrible. It's not as though this is the only time "Through the Looking Glass" has ever been made into a movie, and it's not like by making this, no one can ever again make another adaptation similar to the book. People are acting like this movie completely ruined the book. If you give it a chance, it's truly enjoyable.

I love movies to do with time travel so that helps.
The CGI in this movie was breathtaking.

I don't understand all the hate for this movie either.
