Anime similar to Attack on Titan

I liked this... so I wonder if there are some Anime Series that have: mystery (suspense), philosophy and mind games). I've watched Code Geass, Death Note and Gantz... is there anything that can be put in the line with this tree (four with Attack on Titan). Thanks.

Definitely watch Evangelion if you haven't seen it, it's got that similar young people have to save humanity from giant monster ish things going for it and it's pretty clear AOT has some evangelion influence

check out Gungrave...It's really good. I don't think I've really seen another anime like AoT, but Gungrave is pretty fun.

Escaflowne for a medieval setting except the knights in shining armor are large mechs called Guymelifs.

If big monsters crunching on people is your thing, Muv Luv is for you. It's a mecha anime, but you get some of the same vibes as AOT.
