Trying to make up for the crapfest of the last one

From the trailer, I just watched they are going all the way back to the original trilogy again to shove Johnson's 'let the past die, kill it if you have to' motif from The Last Jedi away. Lando, The Emporer, Luke, Leia, all a focus in the trailers. I gotta think the backlash they were all blowing off like it was no big deal was actually a big deal.
