tfa was bad
tlj was UNBELIEVABLY terrible - it was astounding how much skill it would have taken to make this film so bad
tros? Will it be the best, worst or 2nd worst/best of the DT?
It's hard to say. Abrams doesn't have much to work with here. I think it will be better than TLJ and on par with TFA.

The Last Jedi was incredibly bad - a horrible movie, managed to mishandle every character - both new and old. By far the worst of the 8 movies so far.
This one cannot be as bad as the Last Jedi but given the mess that movie left us with is not likely to be as good as The Force Awakens.
Likely to be 7th or 8th out of all of the movies.
I didn't like tfa, however there was certainly potential to explore it's story further in tlj .... Which it didn't (in spectacular fashion) and ended up making it worse in retrospect.
