I know, I know, they've been rebranded as "Legends" now, but I don't care. There has to be an alternative storyline that picks up after ROTJ that's more interesting, and carefully thought out. Any suggestions?
shareAside from Legends, Disney is also rebooting EU characters in new novels. I see "Thrawn" got great reviews.
shareIf you want to stay away from Disney Star Wars then the best suggestion would be the Thrawn Trilogy starting with Heir to the Empire. The world makes a little more sense coming from ROTJ than TFA does. It’s a well written trilogy, if you enjoy that there are many other novels to continue on to, just check out the timeline. The EU does get a little messy after awhile, particularly when they do the long story arcs that go on for 7+ books, but there are many good stories in there.
