its dead :(

It turns out that "The Legend of Conan” is in fact dead - meaning only the earlier script and film title. Universal Pictures was going to do the film when a past head honcho was in control but now that he is no longer with Universal, the film studio dropped all Conan plans. CROM! Apparently they thought making “Seventh Son” was going to be better than Conan (groan).

It's been dead for a while, but its good to hear about a Conan TV show, with proper funding and talent it could be great, maybe we'll get to see a true vision of Robert E. Howard's Hyborian age.

Sounds like Arnold might appear as King Conan in the forthcoming TV show?

"Then we are finishing off the script now on Triplets, which is sequel to Twins,” Schwarzenegger tells TheArnoldFans. "Then they are also writing King Conan. Then we just made a deal to do a series of westerns on television, so we are looking forward to that."

Since “The Legend of Conan” script was cancelled with Universal Pictures, we believe Arnold is referring to how Fredrik Malmberg, Conan's producer. told TheArnoldFans that he would like Schwarzenegger to star in the new "Conan the Barbarian” series on Amazon. Malmberg has shared with TheArnoldFans that he’d personally love for Arnold to have an intro to the episodes showing King Conan narrating the stories of Conan's youth as well as showing a few episodes that could possibly focus entirely on King Conan’s years. Arnold also just announced he joined the Amazon family to do the Western series, Outrider.
