Need to watch it again, but in the meantime... (spoilers)

I loved the movie. I loved the dialogue, the acting, the actors and everything else. I think the drug dealer characters could have been developed better, but I loved the movie. And I do need to watch it again, but in the meantime I have a couple questions. The scene at the pool was, chronologically, the end scene, right? So after getting shot near the heart Samson should have been dying, but he didn't really seem that bad to me. I mean, the bullet exited near his heart, and it would be pretty unusual to get up and walk away from that kind of injury.

My second question is the character I saw in the credits listed as Samson's fantasy daughter. Did I blink? I don't remember seeing her in the movie.

Anyway, I thought everybody was terrific, especially John Hawkes and Vail Bloom.
