I just wanted to know what people's thoughts were about Albert and Eva possible relationship at the end (of after) the movie?

i dont think they get back together.
jim does the 'no i dont' joke a few times in the movie - and each time hes watching eva as if to enjoy her reaction. on the porch when he does it the final time hes looking off into the distance. that says it all to me.

Likely, but I never saw the chemistry. So I hope not. Their relationship got off track, and could have been salvaged. It's not like they had a lot of choices.
But the McGarrigle sisters said it best - sometimes the heart is just like the wheel - when you bend it, you can't mend it...

I think they get together again. She says she did what she did to, in a way, protect herself and he said 'what about protecting us?' Her reaction showed how pained she was at realizing her mistake. He was too angry then to accept her apology but he seemed like a very sentimental and nonjudgemental guy so I see him realizing that she knows she made a mistake and regretted it and he forgives her. If he couldn't forgive her, then he wasn't the guy she thought he was. I think they start again, perhaps slowly, but a start again at what they had been building. She would know she won't get a second chance and will be more careful in the future.
