Do You Think They get Together in the End?

I just wanted to know what people's thoughts were about Albert and Eva possible relationship at the end (of after) the movie?

reply

Yes, without a doubt.

reply

I think so... I can see Albert forgiving her and them having a stronger respect for each other!

reply

The truth is men are more forgiving then women. Maybe because men are saps, brain damaged, or realize it is very difficult to meet a good looking woman. What ever the reason, men are more forgiving then women. If the tables had been turned, she would never had welcomed him to her porch to talk. Yes, he forgives her, they slowly begin their relationship again and probably get married.

reply

Yes, I think the ending hints at their getting back together.

reply

I would forgive her. She's worth over 3 billion dollars. lol

It seemed like that was the gist, they broke the ice, and Eva rated her head on his arm.

I think she really did realize what a great guy Albert was. But I don't think it will be as easy for him to pick up where things left off.

For one, dating Eva can only raise tensions between Albert and his ex. And also, her maturity and judgement throughout the film were questionable. Frankly, Albert could do better. But maybe he believed she had suffered and that she really did care for him as he cared for her.

The way it ended abruptly made me wonder if Mr Gandolfini died before they had finished filming and they ended it with a scene they shot leading up to a reconciliation. But I guess not if he went on to make one other film.

It was real nice to see him (again) in film. I loved his characters. It's so sad that he died so young.

Of course they got back together. A really pissed-off guy would not have come outside and sat down with her to talk. he also indicated that he had driven by her house a few times as well.

Besides, that was their first big fight. You don't kill the deal over the first fight.

She liked his joking around with her and he liked that she liked it. They had really good chemistry. When she went to see him at his house when he wasn't returning her calls, the chemistry was gone, the first thing he said was "You know how many calories is in that?" and when she tried the old stand-bye, "Guess we'll need to get a hobby" he answered shortly, "yeah" and walked out of the kitchen. But when they sat down together on his front stoop, he told her he'd gotten the bed tables and she was interested and when he said no not really, she really laughed over that one. The chemistry had returned. I think they got back together and had a good relationship, not sure if she kept in contact with his ex-wife though.

Maybe his daughter told him about the conversation they had right before Eva left the house the last time.
