DC is for "kiddies" as well, they produce content for youngsters more than often.
DC has jokes and has characters who are comedic in nature, like Plastic Man and Detective Chimp.
There was no "dance off" in Guardians, Quill was the only one dancing and it was to distract Ronan.
DC sells just about as much toys as Marvel.

shareDC has 4very good films , batman 1989, batman begins , the dark knight and superman the movie, the rest are average to shockingly bad , marvel has made a greater number of very good films , blade, iron man , dr strange , civil war , winter solider , avengers , guardians and let's not forget marvel makes a hell of a lot more at the box office so it's actually marvel that's far better, I'd say at this point that's pretty much fact.
