It's back, as a feature length film

Showtime is officially bringing back the canceled drama for a one-off movie with a proper — and planned — closure to the drama starring Liev Schreiber that was abruptly canceled last year after seven seasons.

I am so happy about this. Ray Donovan is a wonderful show, and I'm really happy that they will properly end the show.

I'm still at a loss as to why it got cancelled. Even the production crew were shocked. I hope they knock it out of the park, with more craziness.

Set for a 2022 release.

I just finished the movie and am sad about how it ended.

It was bad.

I think I might find out the reason. Paramount has been deeply involved in a movie star feud for the past 14 years and the fight has became increasingly dirty and violent, and that includes Paramount itself. One of the stars put Ray Donovan (Liev Schreiber) in the studio as his people and I think the studio found out.
