Human looking characters done unecessarily with CGI for no good reason. Check
Background spaceships clearly in focus lacking any depth of field. Check
Female lead who can't act. Check
Male lead with no charisma. Check
All the Lucas prequel mistakes and a pop singer thrown in for not so good measure.
And speaking of George Lucas, I've also got a bad feeling about this movie.
Everything I've seen so far seems overdone and amateurish. You know it's bad when people bring up Jupiter Ascending comparisons after seeing this trailer.
Yeah, a lot of people are saying Jupiter Ascending. I see a lot of John Carter similarities too, both big budget sci fi failures.
shareIn a way, yeah. But in a way it's got that saturated cartoony look that worked so well for 5th Element. I think there's still some potential behind this one, but it's become really hit and miss with Besson, which sucks because he can really hit when he does. But... there sure is a similarity to Avatar in the CGI characters that is pretty unlikable....
