When's the last time you had to walk out of a movie? This was it for me.

DISCLAIMER:

I love animations, I love kids movies. I saw this with my wife to see if it would be fun for our kids.

We made it through 5 minutes and were groaning.

After ten minutes I wanted to be anywhere else.

After that we walked out.

That's not something I do a lot - hardly ever.

It's one of the movies movies that had a not awful premise but no soul and painful to endure.

I'd even skip it on TV.

Everyone is better off just rewatching Monsters Inc imho.

Completely agree. Me AND my son were ready to turn this crap off 10 minutes in...we gave it a run anyways all the way through, and it ended with no redeeming qualities. He is actually the one who said I should rate this movie a zero...if only that were possible.

I'm not trolling and I imagine people have different tastes, but this movie just left a bad one throughout.

Seriously hope for better quality (story, audio, voice characters - the animation was fine) and that this isn't the type of animated kids films we get in the future.

reply

Contrary to some angry posters out there, I was not and am not trolling.

We paid for it, wanted to see it, wanted to bring the kids and had to leave.

End of story.

Don't know why people have to get upset over it.

There are always opposing views out there. Personally I am thankful when I get warned to avoid a movie and don't have to waste time on something…

Those who liked it, more power to you. We just won't be going on movie play dates together - different strokes for different folks and there ain't nutting' wrong wit it. :P

I agree, I put this on from Netflix without knowing anything about the movie. No preconceived notions... it was a really horrible movie.

I'm 43 years old and I absolutely loved this animated movie. The kids and I watch it over and over. Different strokes.

Any move, or anything actually, with Rhianna in it means run far away!

Far, far away!

My son even said he has zero interest in this movie. The great news now is that I don't ever have to watch it. Yay!

Indeed there is much better than this.

It sounds like the OP believes in "erasing" someone who makes too many mistakes. I wonder if he also throws babies out with bathwater.

I've never actually 'walked out' of a film before, I will usually stick it out to the bitter end.

The closest I came was the Blair Witch project, and in that film I heard grumbles from half the audience and many did walk out talking about how bad it was.

Sure it was a happy ending, it was fairly predictable at points as to what was going to happen next. BUT the best thing to do in that situation is shut down your analytical side of the brain and engage in the fantasy.

For me Gravity was probably the worst film I've seen in years, as a bit of a space geek for years I was shouting at the screen much of the time....

Yet it got massive ratings.

So everyone is different, your entitled to your opinion.

Gravity - the awesome part was awesome, and the rest was pretty meh. But seeing the awesome part on a giant screen was way fun. They should do movie mixtapes - just the best parts of movies mixed together.

That could be interesting. 😎

In 1992 for 1492, I actually believe it's the only one I ever walked out of, it was way too violent for the little kid I was.

I just saw this at home, but I wouldn't have walked out, it's not bad enough for that.
