When's the last time you had to walk out of a movie? This was it for me.

DISCLAIMER:

I love animations, I love kids movies. I saw this with my wife to see if it would be fun for our kids.

We made it through 5 minutes and were groaning.

After ten minutes I wanted to be anywhere else.

After that we walked out.

That's not something I do a lot - hardly ever.

It's one of the movies movies that had a not awful premise but no soul and painful to endure.

I'd even skip it on TV.

Everyone is better off just rewatching Monsters Inc imho.

I didn't walk out, but stopped watching it. Thank God I only rented it! The story, the music, even the characters were so annoying!

Any move, or anything actually, with Rhianna in it means run far away!

My son even said he has zero interest in this movie. The great news now is that I don't ever have to watch it. Yay!

Oh please, this was one of the better ones compared to a recent stinker of 'Inside Out'... now that one you can say was indeed painful to endure and made both me and the kids want to be anywhere but there... But we still stuck it out.

"Home" was perfectly fine and entertaining, especially for little kids.

I swear though IMDB Users are so ridiculous, on most movies you see the old "I WALKED OUTTA THE THEATRE IT'S SOO BAD" topic and it just makes me roll my eyes and shake my head... It's clickbait in it's lowest form. You want to talk about cliches? Start with your unoriginal posts.

I'm sorry, did you just call the most critically acclaimed film of the year a stinker? "Inside Out" was yet another remarkable Pixar film, overflowing with creativity, wonderful characters and a touching story to tell. "Home" is nothing compared to "Inside Out".

reply

Taco_Lips, can you elaborate on why "Inside Out" is a stinker? Home was touching and creative, too and Oh was awesome. Inside Out had characters that ranged from bad to great.

DON'T JUDGE PEOPLE BY THEIR AGES, NOT USE COMMON SENSE, OR ASK CRITICAL QUESTIONS!

the movie did started out dumb and cheesy and the comedy looked forced. Almost turned the movie off, until it got to the point where Oh repaired the car (yeah im a sucker for flying cars). So I sticked it out and it did turned out great. Had a lot of goosebumps moments with the cinematography and drama towards the middle of the movie when Oh realized what it is to be a humansperson, until the end. The music was good, too. It really brought out the emotion of the scenes. So yeah, movie started out dumb, but finished great.

Well i went to see Green Lantern in 2011 and i didn't walk out. It was way worse than this. But unless something is totally unwatchable boring, gross or offensive.. Like Ang Lee Hulk. I don't see any reason to walk out. I can take out right silly and Cheesy. But not something that is out right boring.

Ha! With Wahlberg? Luckily I didn't see it in theaters & it was terribly hard to get through...

I loved it. It's really funny and a tear-jerker to boot
